Let’s face it – there’s probably no better feeling after a long day on the slopes than relaxing in a hot tub. That is, unless you’re soaking in a hot tub at Keystone Resort, in which case you also be soaking in some amazing views. For those of you looking for the best places in Keystone to relax and treat those sore legs, we’ve put together a list of our favorite hot tubs and pools of Keystone. In no particular order….
Lone Eagle Condominiums
One of the only lodging properties to offer ski in/ski out access at Keystone, the hot tub at Lone Eagle offers a relaxing and upscale option just a few turns from the River Run trail. Plus, the heated patio makes soaking in the winter less daunting.
Why we love Lone Eagle’s hot tub: The slopeside views – perfect for a photo op with friends!
If a more secluded spot is what you’re looking for, check out the hot tub at the Timbers. Located next to Lone Eagle, this fan-favorite hot tub is nestled in the forest, complete with an adjoining indoor/outdoor pool, sauna, steam room, and on-site fitness center.
Why we love the Timber’s hot tub: The indoor/outdoor pool option will satisfy swimmers on even the chilliest of days.
Located in the East Keystone neighborhood of Settler’s Creek, Minnie’s Cabin not only has a great hot tub and pool tucked in a dramatic mountain valley, but also has an amazing club house to entertain the whole family complete with a pool table, TVs, kitchenette and tons of comfy chairs.
Why we love Minnie’s Cabin: the adjoining cabin is perfect for hanging out with friends and family after soaking.
Centrally located right in the heart of the River Run Village, the Dakota Lodge hot tub is easily accessible from the slopes, meaning you’ll be relaxing in no time after a long day on the mountain. This hot tub also has an adjacent pool, and views stretching from River Run Village to the Mountain House Base Area.
Why we love Dakota Lodge’s pool: the size – this pool is great for doing a few laps.
Hyatt Place Keystone
With quite possibly the best views in Keystone, the roof top hot tub at Hyatt Place Keystone offers sweeping views of the resort and surrounding mountain ranges that can’t be found anywhere else. Try out the hot tub after sunset to see incredible views of the slopes lit up for night skiing.
Why we love Hyatt Place Keystone’s hot tub: there are not one, but TWO rooftop hot tubs to choose from!
The Springs, located within earshot of the River Run Gondola, this hot tub and pool area is a fan favorite amongst guests, complete with a water slide, waterfall and amazing views of the River Run ski trail.
Why we love the Springs’ hot tub: the fun additions – kids will love playing in the waterfall or on the water slide after a day on the slopes.
