Our Favorite Kidtopia Programs Preteens Can Enjoy!

When you have a range of ages in your family, finding vacation activities that everyone can participate and enjoy can be a struggle. While the little ones might be entertained, the older siblings may roll their eyes. Keystone Resort’s Kidtopia uses our daily programs to bring together all ages for family fun, and that includes preteens! We want to share with you a few of our programs that older siblings can enjoy, whether it is a highlighted feature in a larger program or it is a program specifically designed for them!

Cupcakes & Canvas

Let your inner Picasso out! This program is a fantastic way for the family to get their creativity flowing. Guided by an art teacher, kiddos paint along and create keepsake artwork. Preteens will enjoy the freedom to paint as intricately as they’d like. Plus, the class finishes off with Chef Ned Archibald’s elaborate cupcakes.

Friday Afternoon Club

There is fun to be had all over Keystone – even on mountain tops! Head to the summit of Dercum Mountain via a scenic gondola ride, and enjoy Keystone’s Friday Afternoon Club with the whole family. The event features free live music and outdoor yard games, like corn hole, horseshoes, practice slack-lining, or bocce ball. With breathtaking views and opportunities for fun, it will be worth a family selfie!

Meet the Rescue Dog

Meet one of the cutest crew members at Keystone Resort and learn about what it takes to be a ski resort avalanche rescue dog. This fun and interactive meet-and-greet is both educational and engaging; kids will learn the ins and out of avalanche rescue, hands-on avalanche beacon tutorials, and how these skilled dogs can save the day. Includes plenty of photo and petting opportunities!
