Come Together this Summer in Lakeside Village with Family and Friends

Family Adventures in Lakeside Village
Looking for family entertainment to keep the kids going all day? Look no further than Lakeside Village’s great family activities such as stand up paddle boarding, paddle boating, or kayaking across the lake, or grab a set of rental bikes from the Adventure Center and take the kids on the meandering recreation path that follows the Snake River through Keystone. Also, make sure to purchase a bag of fish food, to not only feed the fish, but the ducks and geese too.

The fun doesn’t stop there for families. Lakeside Village also boasts great programming on Thursdays and Sundays including Cupcakes and Canvases, Fly Fishing Clinics, ‘Summers on the Lake’ featuring, crafts, cash BBQ and Happy Hour Specials at the Adventure Center and Kid’s Yoga.

Kicking-off every other Thursday morning from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. throughout the summer months, Keystone hosts Cupcakes and Canvases under the Adventure Center Gazebo in Lakeside Village. This great one hour class guides kids through creating an artistic masterpiece while enjoying delicious cupcakes.

Moving into Thursday afternoons, Cutthroat Anglers will be on-site to teach guests how to cast, provide background on the various types of fish found in the Rocky Mountains as well as tips on how to read the water in the free Fly Fishing Casting Clinics. Taking place every Thursday until August 28 from 1 p.m.-2 p.m. guests can enjoy this fun activity together on the Lake.

On Sundays, kids can enjoy ‘ Summers on the Lake” Summers on the Lake’ featuring, crafts, cash BBQ, Happy Hour Specials at the Adventure Center and Kid’s Yoga from 3 p.m.- 4 p.m. (available July 20, 27 and August 3, 10).

Activities for Taking a Step Back with Friends
For girlfriends for guy friends wanting to take a step back from their bustling lives, head to Lakeside Village at Keystone Resort for time well spent relaxing and enjoying each other’s company.

Every Monday the Keystone Lodge & Spa will host a Moscow Mule Monday on the Mountain View Terrace featuring $5 mules and appetizer specials. Plus, live music will run from 4 p.m.-7 p.m.

From Noon-7 p.m. every Thursday a tent will be set up in front of the Adventure Center for guests to purchase a tasty lunch at a value price. Featuring a six dollar menu of Kobe Beef Sliders, Hebrew National hot dogs, fried macaroni & cheese, chicken satay skewers, orange spice tenderloin skewers and drinks, grab lunch to go and then pick a spot along the Lake to enjoy a lovely lunch with a view. Also on Thursdays-Sundays, the Adventure Center Gazebo will turn into a Bud Light beer garden from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. through Labor Day. Plus, throughout the summer months, Lakeside Village will feature live music on Thursdays creating a great atmosphere for relaxing on the Lake.

Taste of Keystone in Lakeside Village Sunday, August 31
For one of the best events of the summer at Keystone Resort, head to Lakeside Village August 31 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. for a day of tasting the best of what Keystone’s signature restaurants have to offer. Purchase tasting tickets and meander the various food booths to sample tasty treats and savory bites while listening to live music and enjoying the gorgeous views. Kids can also enjoy fun food tastings as well as a craft area.
