First Signs of Winter
With less than 50 days ’til our November 1 opening day at Keystone, it’s never too early for the first signs of winter to appear. For the first time in weeks, the temps around Summit County have dropped low enough to dust the peaks around Colorado with our favorite color – white!
Bald Mountain is one of the beautiful scenic peaks visible from the River Course at Keystone and showed the first signs of snow this week.
It didn’t take long for the temperatures to drop in town. This morning the first frost of winter meant a couple extra minutes of heating up the vehicle for the drive into Keystone.
Pretty soon, we’ll be unpacking our winter jackets, sorels and drinking warm coffee to start the day in Keystone.
