Get #BackToSnow at Keystone on November 10!

Are you ready to get #BackToSnow with us THIS FRIDAY, November 10?! We sure are, because everyone knows that you can’t ski all season long if you don’t start on day one.

Join us opening weekend for tons of fun, giveaways, and most importantly – the opportunity to get #BackToSnow for the 2017/18 winter season! Read on for terrain availability and opening day animation.

Lifts will begin turning at 9 a.m. with mountain access from the River Run Gondola and the new six-passenger Montezuma Express chairlift. Available trails for opening day will be beginner terrain on Schoolmarm and Silver Spoon. There will be a few park features set up at the top of Schoolmarm, check back for additional information on features. For our newest rippers,  lessons will be offered starting day one, and beginners can utilize the mountaintop Kokomo carpet at the summit of Dercum mountain. Skiing and riding access will be from the top of Dercum Mountain to the bottom of the new Montezuma Express lift, and guests can download the River Run Gondola when they are done skiing and riding for the day.

Fuel up for the day with donut holes from Keystone’s executive pastry chef Chef Ned,  as well as hot chocolate and coffee at the base of River Run Gondola. On Opening Day the early bird gets the turns, and we’ll be giving away a limited number of giveaways such as Keystone travel mugs and Starbucks gift cards , as well as several raffle prizes, including GoPro HERO5 cameras and a kids’ snowboard.

“We’re very excited to open for the season and debut the new Montezuma Express Lift,” said Geoff Buchheister, Keystone’s vice president and general manager. “Our lift maintenance team put in a tremendous amount of work to get the lift ready for opening day, and I look forward to greeting our guests as they get in their first turns of the season at Keystone.”

We know you’re eager to get out and play, and so are we. We’ll be expanding terrain just as fast as we can, and we’ll share the love as soon as we do. We look forward to seeing you out on the slopes!
