A Great Weekend: Blue Skies, Cupcakes and New Terrain

It was a great weekend as we celebrated the opening of Schoolmarm with blue skies and lots of sunshine. The opening of Schoolmarm provides a wonderful green warm up run, as well as beginner skiing to the mid-mountain Montezuma lift. Keystone moves forward into our second operating week of the season with 110 acres of skiable terrain, and more than 20 features available at the A51 terrain park off of Scout Trail.

We celebrated Veterans Day with cupcakes and thank you cards for our troops. We kickstarted the day by giving away over 1,000 cupcakes along with hot chocolate and coffee at the base of the gondola near our Armed Forces tent. Visitors were also able to fill out thank you cards to send to military personnel serving at home, abroad or injured in hospitals.
Looking forward, the sunshine will continue into the week with highs in the 40s and snowmaking temperatures overnight. We will see cooler temperatures starting Wednesday night, with a chance of snow that will continue into the weekend, so load on the sunscreen and enjoy these blue bird days while you can! Stayed tuned as we continue to update you with all of our Keystone on snow news!
