Calm Before the Storm

After a beautiful blue bird weekend it is a quiet Monday here at Keystone. It seems to be the calm before the storm, literally. Snow showers will be moving in this afternoon, and hanging around for the remainder of the week. We have our fingers crossed that this storm brings us lots of fresh powder to finish our snowy January off strong.

As January comes to an end, so does Skier Safety Month. All week long in the Dercum Summit area ski patrol will be conducting a Skier Safety Month Quiz to test guests knowledge, and celebrate the end of Safety Month. Answer a few questions on skier safety and mountain operations, and receive a cool swag prize.

Although we are saying goodbye to Skier Safety Month, we are saying hello to Savor the Slopes! Savor the Slopes is a month long rotating showcase of Keystone’s signature restaurants featuring food, wine, beer, and spirits samplings daily. Savor the Slopes will begin this weekend on February 1st, and last all month long! So get ready to spend your February savoring and make your reservations now.

Also coming up this weekend is the 12th annual Transworld TransAM Competition over at the Mountain House Base area. Make sure you stop by and enjoy some fun competition complete with music and prizes.
