Coming to Keystone with your family this Summer? We’ve got plenty of outdoor adventures perfect for all ages! From mountain biking to hiking, horseback riding to wagon dinner rides or just enjoying pool time together – come experience our fun activities in Keystone, Colorado. Need a reason to visit? Kid’s Events
Join us for one of our many free kid’s events this summer. The Kid’s Discovery Days starts in June and puts on a free show every Tuesday from 11am-2pm in River Run Village.

Not in town on Tuesdays, check out our Saturday Super Slimy Science in River Run Village at the Kidtopia Headquarters. The program will consist of hands-on activities, including searching for water bugs and performing fun chemical tests on the river. Don’t miss out on all the Science, Adventure and Fun!
Snow Tubing
Best for: 4 years old and older (42″ requirement)
Wish you could play in the snow in the summer? Here’s your chance with our snow tubing at Adventure Point. We’ve saved some of the snow from the winter to create a tubing hill in the summer (’til the snow melts) so don’t miss out and see if it’s still open!
Paddleboards and Boats!
Best for: All Ages
The Adventure Center at Lakeside Village is the perfect place for the family to spend time together while doing fun activities. Try out paddleboarding around the lake, paddleboat as a family, feed the fish and play volleyball.
Mountain Biking from the Top
Best for: Youth and Teens
Feel like the family has energy they need to get out – riding downhill may seem easy but it’s a workout when it comes to our 7-mile downhill beginner trail. Take your family up and down to enjoy the sights and sounds of Keystone via downhill bikes.
Biking around town
Best for: All Ages
Cruise through Keystone from one village to another via bike. Our bike path connects River Run Village to Lakeside Village. From there you can continue on the trail towards the River Course at Keystone Golf Course and Lake Dillon bike path. It’s a great way to tour the area and enjoy scenic spots along the ride.
Horseback & Wagon Rides
Best for: All Ages
Come experience the beautiful scenery of the Rocky Mountains via horseback and wagon rides. Our wagon rides are a great option for the family with a variety of ages from infants to adults. Horseback rides are a great option for those with older kids looking to have a sense of independence within a group.
Pooltime!
Best for: All ages
We’ve got pretty incredible pools located in our villages where you can spend hours soaking up the sun and playing with the family poolside! One of our favorites is the Springs right in River Run Village. Perfect for families, this poolside area features a slide into the pool, hot tubs and an outdoor fire pit.
Take a hike
Best for: All Ages
Take a scenic lift ride to the top of the mountain with the family for access to our hiking trails with views of Lake Dillon, Buffalo Mountain and the ranges around Summit County. Or hike along the bike path winding around the Snake River on your way to Lake Dillon Reservoir this summer.
