Welcome to Keystone

Have Fun On and Off the Slopes at Keystone

The holiday season is in full swing here at Keystone. We now have over 1600 acres of terrain available for skiing and riding, but there is plenty of fun to be had off of the slopes as well.

Personally, when I’m not on the mountain skiing, my favorite place to be is on the tubing hill at adventure point. There are just some things that will always be fun, no matter how old you are. Whether you are tubing during the day or under the lights, the tubing hill is a great place to be.

The Keystone Nordic Center is another place where you can get your tubing fix, but that is definitely not all. The Nordic Center offers snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, rentals, lessons, and even an all-you-can-eat soup buffet. This is a great place to get away from the crowds, experience some extraordinary views, and get just a little bit closer to nature.

Another great winter activity that is perfect for a family outing is ice skating. Here at Keystone we have two rinks, one in the River Run Village and the other in Lake Side. Although my coordination on the ice is very limited, I always enjoy taking laps on the rink.

If you are looking for a way to enjoy these beautiful Colorado mountains in a more laid back setting there are plenty of options for you. Our Mountain-Top SnowCat tours provide a comfortable ride to the top of the mountain, so you can focus on the breathtaking views. Another option is to hop on one of our high-speed gondolas where you can simply relax and soak up the scenery. Ride the gondola to North Peak and grab a meal at one of our signature restaurants, a perfect way to end the day.

Whether you are up here for the week or even just the day, there is something here for everyone. Click here to get more information on all of our off-the slopes activities and come and join us out here on the slopes… or the tubing hill… or the gondola… or the ice rink… you get the point.
