March Keeps the Snow Coming!

We have officially moved into our snowiest month, and so far we are off to a great start! In just the first few days March has delivered 10 new inches of fresh snow, and there is more in the forecast!

These warmer temperatures will continue throughout this week, with a storm returning on Tuesday potentially bringing us 6 more inches of snow. We will see sunshine and partly cloudy skies mid-week with more snow returning Friday just in time for the weekend.

 As we head into Spring we have some great events going on. Come celebrate Mardi Gras at Keystone this Tuesday, March 4th, and join us for our Annual Gumbo Cook-off & Beignets Bake-off. The tastings will begin at 2:30pm in the River Run Village, and this New Orleans style Mardi Gras celebration will be accompanied by the live music of Funky Johnson.

Also going on this week is the Dercum Center’s Third Annual Winter Bluegrass Festival, happening this Friday and Saturday. Don’t miss two nights of music and dancing including an hour long community jam session each night from 6:00 to 7:00pm.
