5 Perfect Days: Ultimate Family Adventure
Have you been dreaming of the perfect family vacation? Something filled with quality time, new adventures, unique experiences, and maybe even a bit of down time? Well, we know constructing a perfect family vacation takes a lot of time and effort to PLAN. So, we’ve taken the hard part out of it so you can focus on one of the best parts of vacation: the excitement!
Imagine being whisked away to beautiful Colorado. As you fly over the snow capped Rockies it’s hard to contain the excitement for the myriad of amazing activities you’re about to share with your loved ones.
Here’s what’s in store for your Ultimate Family Adventure:
Day 1
You arrive at Keystone to see the slopes illuminated as skiers & snowboarders glide down the beautiful white slopes. After checking in to your luxury accommodations your family is so excited to ski that you have to hit the slopes. Your rental gear & lift tickets are taken care of already and you spend your first hours in Keystone getting reacquainted with the mountain. After making initial turns and taking a few runs, it’s time to experience some of Keystone’s cuisine. A quick gondola ride delivers you atop the Outpost and you and your family share a delicious dipping dinner at Der Fondue Chessel.
Day 2
The next morning it’s time to brush up everybody’s skills with a Family Private Lesson. Ski lesson’s work up quite an appetite, but we’ve got you covered with lunch at Alpenglow Stube. With appetites appeased, it’s time to spend some time off the slopes. Of course before heading back the village your little ones will have to explore Kidtopia! Conquering the snow fort and spinning down the tubing hill will be cherished family memories for years to come.
After strolling through the village it’s time for dinner! You’ll enjoy gourmet eats like prime rib, lamb chop, or lobster mac ‘n cheese at the BigHorn Bistro & Bar while taking in a beautiful sunset over the frozen lake. A quick family ice skate brings out laughs and smiles as one member of the family imexplicably uses their rear on the ice more than their skates. Just as the night winds down, fire works light up the sky over the Lakeside village as you sip on hot chocolate.
Day 3
More family ski memories are made in the morning as fresh snow falls in Keystone. The afternoon activities include more Kidtopia adventures and Dog sledding. Tired after 3 awesome days you opt to stay in for a family night and will dinner brought to your room before nestling in to take part in board games or enjoying a movie together.
Day 4
What’s a vacation without some relaxation? The kids are off expending their seemingly endless energy on the slopes with a private ski lesson and that means it’s time to relax at the Keystone Lodge & Spa. Feeling refreshed after the full spa treatment, it’s time for parents night out! Dinner at Summit County’s finest restaurant the Ski Tip Lodge while in room child care looks over the kids.
Day 5
How the times flown by, can it already be your last vacation day? This last day will cap off your Ultimate Family Adventure. The morning is filled with beautiful views as you tour the mountain top in snowcats. During the day everyone’s feeling confident in their skiing ability after taking lessons, the family heads over to the Outback for some amazing skiing. Your vacation will be capped off with an intimate sleigh ride to a warm & rustic cabin to enjoy dinner.
