1. Kids Ski Free at Keystone
Every day, all season, kids 12 and younger ski free at Keystone. Easy on the wallet, easy on the rules and hard to beat, Keystone’s Kids Ski Free program is as simple as childhood itself. With no blackout dates (that means availability on all weekends and holidays!), our Kids Ski Free program continues to be the best in the biz!
To qualify, you must stay two or more nights in one of Keystone’s numerous accommodation options, which span from luxury hotel rooms to cozy ski-in/ski-out condominiums. This will be the fourth season of the program, and we are looking to give out more 12 & under kids lift tickets than ever!
2. Kidtopia
Keystone’s Kidtopia is the ultimate playground for fun and adventure, with daily activities and events that the whole family can enjoy! This year we’re making the World’s Largest Snowfort even bigger and adding even more fun to our daily Kidtopia lineup. Join us throughout the season for giant snowball launches, family board games and movie time, scavenger hunts, daily cookie time, meet and greets with the avy dogs, Ripperoo’s Parade and fireworks. Whether you are new to skiing and snowboarding or you’re a seasoned snow veteran, anyone who is looking to develop new skills, improve technique or explore the mountain like never before can enjoy a Ski and Ride Lesson at Keystone!

Camp Keystone
The adventure begins the moment you enter Camp Keystone. Located conveniently at Keystone’s Mountain House base area, Camp Keystone’s specially designed interactive environment immediately wows kids and puts parents at ease. Inside, kids explore hands-on displays and a walk-able maze, before heading outside—via a 24 foot slide—for game-aided learning, guided adventure and interactive fun. After the best-ever entrance onto snow, a designated learning area just steps away from the Camp Keystone facility is the perfect environment for your children to develop their skiing or snowboarding skills. Our kid-certified instructors build confidence and a love for snow sports in your little ones, which they will gladly boast about the entire trip home.
4. Family Ski and Ride Zones
The Schoolyard is a first of its kind Family Ski Trail, designed to engage skiers and riders of all ages while promoting on-snow progression with specialty features. Whether it’s gliding over Rockin’ Rollers or learning to maneuver over changing terrain in Tornado Alley, the Schoolyard is an area for the whole family to take their skiing and riding to the next level. Families can also enjoy skiing and riding with Keystone’s mascot, Ripperoo, and get pictures taken by our EpicMix Photographers. The Schoolyard is conveniently located on our most popular green trail, Schoolmarm – a 3.5 mile top-to-bottom green run.
5. Progression-focused Terrain
Keystone offers one of the most accessible, progression-friendly mountain experiences in Colorado. From the natural front-to-back sequence of Keystone’s terrain, with three peaks stacked in front of one-another, Keystone offers something for every level skier and rider. Families can find new challenges on the mountain each day.

Book your lodging directly through Keystone Resort and not only will any child 12 and younger ski free, but entire families can enjoy additional free activities together. 8. Mountaintop Tubing

Snow Tubing at Adventure Point is a great activity for the entire family. Fly down one of the multiple lanes solo, or linked together as a group! When you reach the bottom the state-of-the-art conveyor lift will make getting back up the hill a breeze. Day or night, Adventure Point Tubing adds another thrill to enjoying the mountain. The Take it easy and grab a bite with Santa or Ripperoo at the Bighorn Bistro’s Family Brunch, dip into some delicious fondue served family style while practicing your chicken dance with our live polka band at Der Fondue Chessel, let the kids play in a supervised section and have a meal cooked especially for them while you take in amazing views from the Keystone Ranch, or bundle together and take a trip to the Keystone founder’s original homestead on one of our Sleigh Ride Dinners!
